Marc Propst
President
A native of North Carolina, Marc grew up watching his grandfather build houses and began working in residential building in 1993. Marc brings a practical and honest approach to projects, combined with meticulous, hands-on, attention to detail. His connections with local artisans and craftsmen, developed over 30 years of building in Asheville, create mountain homes filled with exceptional handcrafted finishes.
Marc has a BS in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the University of South Carolina. Prior to founding WNC Design Build, he worked in sales and international business development with ASEA Brown Boveri.
Susan Propst
Director of Finance
Susan manages the financial and accounting activities at WNC DesignBuild, focusing on implementing policies and procedures that ensures the highest level of accuracy and integrity. Susan’s undergraduate degree is in foreign languages and she has an International MBA from the University of South Carolina. Prior to founding WNC DesignBuild with Marc she worked in international sales and marketing with Beiesdorf AG.
