A modern treehouse built on a steep slope, designed to maximize natural light and mountain views. The home's calm and airy feel is the result of complex engineering, with a a steel bridge connecting the garage to the street and a fully cantilevered back porch that seems to float in the trees. This project won the 2017 Matsumoto Prize for excellence in modernist architecture.
